Peter Beale 's credentials include Managing Director of both EMI Production and Distribution and 20 th Century Fox productions in London. He has worked on feature films including Dr. Zhivago, Star Wars, Alien and The Omen. Peter Beale has been involved with the production, writing and directing of over 30 documentaries - including Japan, Vancouver and Seville World Fairs Award-winners. Peter Beale is a founding member of BAFTA/LA.
Arnold Schwartzman OBE is an Academy Award winning filmmaker and graphic designer, and has been involved with the Annual Academy Awards since 1996 in his design capacity. He has been Producer, Director and Screenwriter for numerous films, including his Oscar winning 'Genocide' (1982). He was awarded with his Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 2002. Arnold Schwartzman is on the Board of Governors at BAFTA/LA.
Gary Dartnall OBE is an international film distributor and marketer. In 1987 Gary Dartnall was involved with the formation of Palladium Entertainment Inc., owning characters such as Lassie and the Lone Ranger; In 1997 he formed the Douris Corporation, a library of motion pictures, including the Rohauer library of over 700 classic feature and short films. He was awarded his Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 2005. Gary Dartnall is on the board of Directors at BAFTA/LA.
Joop van Wijk is an independent award winning film producer and director. He realized a substantial number of feature length documentaries and has produced two international feature films, Xime and The Dandelion Game, both selected for the Cannes Filmfestival. He is co-initiator of the international documentary website www.docsonline.tv and - from its beginning - organizer of the Audience Award of the IDFA Documentary Film Festival in Amsterdam.
